This week was kinda interesting. I finished Artstreet’s weekly theme “ribbon” with a color artwork, made a free profile pic for anyone to use and released a few spoilers of my “work-in-progress” book. I’m not exactly sure what I wanted to accomplish in these art creations. I simply drew. One thing that I can say is that I’m excited about is my full color project. Oddly, it wasn’t a disaster…
1.Ribbons and Sakura

Yeah, this is a continuation of digital my graphite period. Drawing this gave me a workout in anatomy practice. I was looking to create a whimsical spirited feel…
2. Valerie & Thompson

This project was a collaboration effort with a user on medibang. I agreed to create the line art while they colored it and put in the finishing details.
I’m not exactly sure if I should include the link to the finished product, but if you happened to be curious and want the link, let me know in the comment section below.
3. Toni Tori, & Hannah

And here’s that full color picture! Tori is on the left, Toni is in the middle, and Hannah is on the right.
As I included on the artwork’s description:
“Toni isn’t very happy about dressing up in ribbons, as you can see, but her sisters are assuring her that she looks great!
I’ve drawn these three before… about a year ago. They were one of the first pictures I posted up on ARTstreet!
I don’t know if it’s believable but they’re triplets. They’re also the adopted daughters of John (Beijing) and Samantha [I think I might just drew those two and post them up for the sake of it].”
I kept my word and did post up Beijing and Samantha. They’re down below!
4.. Beijing & Samantha

This was a quick fun picture here and is actually quite rare considering Samantha’s shy nature.
Beijing’s real name is John Smith. He may look like a a teacher, but he isn’t. He’s a linguist…. and was a American black ops sniper…. Anyway, he knows how to speak 10 different languages and has been around the world more times than he could count.
Samantha Poxnard (who will eventually be Samantha Smith) is from England and is an expert in computer engineering/programming/hacking. She entered into Oxford at the age of twelve and has a brother, which would be Quinn. (Please tell me you people know who Quinn is!!!)
She’s also the woman you’ve seen (or I hope you’ve seen) in my recent picture Samantha’s Fury.
You all are receiving so many spoilers of the book right now. ~_~ Consider yourselves lucky. 😋😋😋
4. Hello There!

So Artstreet was hosting a free profile picture thing. Since I got in on it late, I used one of the templates they had available. I know, I know, not very original, but I had to get this done in under thirty minutes.
Cheers! We’ve reached the end of this post. I hope you had fun (I really do) and I thank you (very, very much) for stopping by. If you have the time, let me what you think.
Until next week,
~Ali
P.S. please do not copy/retrace/redraw my work. Thanks!
